Journey

The founder of Afara Ventures Nigeria is Ms. Lynsey Elston originally from San Francisco, California known for its famous Golden Gate Bridge. The name Afara means bridge in the Yoruba Language. Afara Ventures is a consultancy company that is meant to bridge her experience and knowledge of the US and Nigeria. Afara Ventures does this by bringing Foreign investors and companies into Nigeria specifically in the areas of Tech and Aviation Services. The company also sees the importance of Nigeria exporting their goods and services and works hard to facilitate these opportunites.

The subsidiary Afara Concepts is a boutique concept design company. Through Lynsey's extensive experiences traveling and living all over the world, she has been exposed to different architectural styles and the cultural influences of these styles. She applies her experiences to bring to life ideas and monetize spaces and designs. Afara ‘Concepts' design ideology is rooted in sustainability where possible. The company brings together an exposed and diverse team focused on quality and functionality.

Alexander Rd. Ikoyi, a private residence renovation that remodeled the existing layout into a much more open and user friendly space for the international family that has made it their home.

Sail Harbour, Badagry was the transformation of a private holiday home into a commercial property. The team proposed and successfully implemented a Farm to Table resort concept, rooted in sustainability by using all local artisans to transform the space.

Ardova, Abuja Headquarters, drawing inspiration from the original company's heritage, African Petroleum. We've embraced an open layout to foster team spirit and collaboration in the new management era. Our head office design strikes a harmonious balance between comfort, sophistication, and historical reverence, resulting in a unique and respectful nod to the past.
